Giuseppe “Joseph” Adamo (1902-1998) is listed by the FBI at the 1987/88 LA family trial as still being a capo but I think it is unlikely given both his age and the ages of other known remaining San Diego members.

As such, I believe that John “Jersey John” Aquilante (1920-1992) probably held the “leadership position” (possibly not even as an official caporegime) for San Diego while also being the active contact there, though it should be noted that there is still some contention about whether he was a DeCavalcante member, like his brother, Michael “Jersey Mike”, a DeCavalcante associate or a Los Angeles family member. Depending on the document you can find him listed as all three.
